Ibn Hisbah or Abu Hisbah narrates from a companion who was present at the time of the address of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. He, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Do you know who the su‘look (poor and destitute) is? The people said: The one who has no wealth. He, peace and blessings be upon him, said: He is completely a su‘look, he is entirely a su‘look, only he is a su‘look who, despite being wealthy, dies in such a state that he has not sent any wealth ahead.
