عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ مَوْلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا تُؤْذُوا عِبَادَ اللَّهِ وَلَا تُعَيِّرُوهُمْ وَلَا تَطْلُبُوا عَوْرَاتِهِمْ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ طَلَبَ عَوْرَةَ أَخِيهِ الْمُسْلِمِ طَلَبَ اللَّهُ عَوْرَتَهُ حَتَّى يَفْضَحَهُ فِي بَيْتِهِ
It is narrated from Mawla-e-Rasool Sayyiduna Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: Do not trouble the servants of Allah, nor disgrace them, nor seek out their faults, for whoever seeks out the fault of his brother, Allah Almighty will pursue his faults until He humiliates him within his own house.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Allahu Akbar, how great is the sanctity of the one who possesses Islam! If only our disposition would become such that we would reform ourselves and, by observing the positive aspects of others, appreciate their worth.
