It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: By Him in Whose hand is my soul! That servant will not enter Paradise whose neighbors are not safe from his evil.

Benefits: … In order to protect a person's honor and sanctity, wealth and property, and life and existence from the harm of others, Islam has established very strict laws. What greater regard can there be for the respect of humanity than that, merely on the basis of neighborhood, a person is deemed the foremost deserving of good conduct and is considered the first rightful recipient of gifts and presents? What greater glad tidings can there be than that, due to doing good to neighbors, a person's rank and status with Allah Ta'ala increases?
