Hadith 9695

وَعَنْهُ أَيْضًا قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنَّ أَعْمَالَ بَنِي آدَمَ تُعْرَضُ كُلَّ خَمِيسٍ لَيْلَةَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَلَا يُقْبَلُ عَمَلُ قَاطِعِ رَحِمٍ
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: On every Thursday night, that is, the night of Friday, the deeds of the children of Adam are presented, and the deeds of the one who severs ties of kinship are not accepted.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … For the bond of kinship (rahim) to speak in this manner and to converse with Allah Ta‘ala is not at all difficult for Allah Ta‘ala; He is capable of granting the power of speech, perception, and consciousness to anything. Just as when the Noble Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) ascended the pulpit, the trunk of the tree against which he used to lean while delivering sermons began to weep.
