Hadith 9657

عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ((حُبُّكَ الشَّيْءَ يُعْمِي وَيُصِمُّ))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Your love for something makes you blind and deaf.
