عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ((إِنَّ مِمَّا أَدْرَكَ النَّاسُ مِنْ كَلَامِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ الْأُولَى إِذَا لَمْ تَسْتَحْيِ فَاصْنَعْ مَا شِئْتَ))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Among the sayings found among the people in the earlier days of ignorance was this: "When you feel no shame, then do whatever you wish."
