Hadith 9642

(وَعَنْهُ مِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَانٍ) قَالَ أَتَتِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ امْرَأَةٌ وَمَعَهَا صَبِيٌّ لَهَا تَحْمِلُهُ وَبِيَدِهَا آخَرُ لَا أَعْلَمُهُ إِلَّا قَالَ وَهِيَ حَامِلٌ فَلَمْ تَسْأَلْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ شَيْئًا يَوْمَئِذٍ إِلَّا أَعْطَاهَا إِيَّاهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ حَامِلَاتٌ وَالِدَاتٌ الْحَدِيثَ
(Second chain) A woman came to the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, carrying a child and holding another child in her other hand. I think the narrator also said that the woman was pregnant as well. Whatever she asked from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, he gave it to her. Then the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Those who carry children in their wombs, then give birth to them, … .
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … In any case, it has been observed that the majority of women do not take care of their husbands’ rights. Although this statement will not be pleasing to women and they will immediately begin to object to men, this is not the solution to the issue. At this time, our topic is the responsibilities of women, and we are presenting both their negative and positive aspects. Generally, each of the husband and wife thinks that they themselves are correct and the fault lies with the other, but everyone should understand their own responsibilities and the rights of others in the light of the Qur’an and Hadith. See, in Hadith number (9644), one of the reasons given for the majority of women being among the inhabitants of Hell is their ingratitude towards their husbands.
