بَابٌ فِي طَهَارَةِ بَدَنِ الْحَائِضِ وَثَوْبِهَا حَاشَا مَوْضِعَ الدَّمِ مِنْهُمَاChapter on the Purity of the Body and Garment of a Menstruating Woman Except for the Place of Blood
Hadith 963

وَعَنْهَا أَيْضًا قَالَتْ: كُنْتُ أَبِيتُ أَنَا وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الشِّعَارِ الْوَاحِدِ وَأَنَا طَامِثٌ حَائِضٌ، قَالَتْ: فَإِنْ أَصَابَهُ مِنِّي شَيْءٌ غَسَلَهُ لَمْ يَعْدُ مَكَانَهُ وَصَلَّى فِيهِ
It is also narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), she says: I and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to spend the night in one garment while I was menstruating. If blood would get on the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he would wash that spot and would not go beyond the affected area, and then he would pray in it.
