عَنْ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْمُلْكُ فِي قُرَيْشٍ وَالْقَضَاءُ فِي الْأَنْصَارِ وَالْأَذَانُ فِي الْحَبَشَةِ وَالشِّرْعَةُ فِي الْيَمَنِ وَقَالَ زَيْدٌ مَرَّةً يَحْفَظُهُ وَالْأَمَانَةُ فِي الْأَزْدِ
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Kingship is among the Quraysh, judgment among the Ansar, the call to prayer among the Abyssinians, the straight path among the Yemenis, and trustworthiness among the Azdis.
Brief Explanation
He said: Kingship is among the Quraysh, judgment (qada) is among the Ansar, the call to prayer (adhan) is among the Abyssinians (Habashis), the straight path is among the Yemenis (Yamanis), and trustworthiness (amanah) is among the Azdis.
