It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Three things are from the happiness of the son of Adam and three things are from the misery of the son of Adam. The three things from the happiness of the son of Adam are: a righteous wife, a suitable house, and a good ride. And the three things from the misery of the son of Adam are: a bad wife, a bad house, and a bad ride.
