بَابُ هلاك كُلُّ أُمَّةٍ لَمْ تَقُمْ بِهَذَا الْوَاجِبِChapter: The destruction of every nation that does not fulfill this obligation
Hadith 9544

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا يَرْفَعُهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ((لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يُوَقِّرِ الْكَبِيرَ وَيَرْحَمِ الصَّغِيرَ وَيَأْمُرْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَى عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ))
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: He is not from among us who does not respect the elders, does not show mercy to the young, does not enjoin good, and does not forbid evil.
