It is narrated from Sayyiduna Shuraid bin Suwaid, may Allah be pleased with him, he says: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, passed by me while I was sitting in such a way that I had placed my left hand behind my back and was leaning on the soft part of my hand. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to me: Do you sit in the manner of those upon whom wrath has been sent down?

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Sitting by resting one’s hand on the ground behind the back is disliked (makruh).

Those upon whom wrath was incurred refers to the general disbelievers and sinners, who adopt arrogance and self-admiration in their manner of sitting, standing, and walking. In Surah Al-Fatihah, by {اَلْمَغْضُوْبِ عَلَیْھِمْ} is meant the Jews.
