بَابُ النَّهْي عَنِ الْجُلُوسِ فِي الطُّرُقَاتِ إِلَّا بِحَقِّهَاChapter on the prohibition of sitting in the pathways except with their due rights

عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ مَرَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى مَجْلِسٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ فَقَالَ إِنْ أَبَيْتُمْ إِلَّا أَنْ تَجْلِسُوا فَاهْدُوا السَّبِيلَ وَرُدُّوا السَّلَامَ وَأَعِينُوا الْمَظْلُومَ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Bara’ bin ‘Azib (may Allah be pleased with both of them) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by a gathering of the Ansar and said: If you must sit in the pathways, then guide the traveler, respond to greetings, and help the oppressed.
