Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that a Bedouin was suffering from fever. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went to visit him and said: "It is an expiation and a purifier." But the Bedouin said: "No, rather it is a fever that is boiling over an old man and showing him the graves." Upon hearing this, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stood up and left him.
