عَنْ أُمِّ سَلْمَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ((إِذَا حَضَرْتُمُ الْمَيِّتَ أَوِ الْمَرِيضَ فَقُولُوا خَيْرًا فَإِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ يُؤَمِّنُونَ عَلَى مَا تَقُولُونَ))
It is narrated from Sayyida Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her), the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When you are present with a deceased person or a sick person, say good things, because whatever you say, the angels say Ameen to it.
