Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would visit a sick person, he would make this supplication: "Remove the illness, Lord of the people, and grant healing, surely You are the Healer, there is no healing except Your healing, grant such a healing that leaves behind no sickness." (O Lord of the people! Remove the illness and grant healing, surely You are the only Healer, and there is no healing except Your healing, grant such a healing that leaves no disease behind.)
