Hadith 9430

(Second chain) A similar hadith is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), except that in it, Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The happiness we felt at the statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that "Indeed, you will be with those whom you love," was not equaled by any happiness from anything after the acceptance of Islam. So I love the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), Sayyiduna Abu Bakr, and Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), and I hope that because of this love I will be with them, even though my deeds are not like their deeds.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Consider that Sayyiduna Anas radi Allahu anhu is saying that his actions are not like the actions of the Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and the first two caliphs of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. The issue is that a Muslim should strive, according to his ability, to perform good deeds and avoid evil, and should keep love for the righteous in his heart, especially for the Noble Prophet and the noble Companions.
