عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ((أَشَدُّ أُمَّتِي لِي حُبًّا قَوْمٌ يَكُونُونَ أَوْ يَخْرُجُونَ بَعْدِي يَوَدُّ أَحَدُهُمْ أَنَّهُ أَعْطَى أَهْلَهُ وَمَالَهُ وَأَنَّهُ رَآنِي))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The people who will love me the most from my Ummah are those who will come after me and will wish that they could see me, even if it meant spending their family and wealth.

Benefits: … This is a pious desire, not the name of any action. We should strive to cultivate within ourselves such love for the Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam that the longing to behold him sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is born within us.
