عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ فَيْرُوزٍ الدَّيْلَمِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُمْ أَسْلَمُوا وَكَانَ فِيمَنْ أَسْلَمَ فَبَعَثُوا وَفْدَهُمْ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِبَيْعَتِهِمْ وَإِسْلَامِهِمْ فَقَبِلَ ذَلِكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ مِنْهُمْ فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ نَحْنُ مَنْ قَدْ عَرَفْتَ جِئْنَا مِنْ حَيْثُ قَدْ عَلِمْتَ وَأَسْلَمْنَا فَمَنْ وَلِيُّنَا قَالَ ((اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ)) قَالُوا حَسْبُنَا رَضِينَا
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Firoz (may Allah be pleased with him) that people embraced Islam and he was among those people. So, they sent their delegation to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) along with their pledge and Islam. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) accepted them. They said: O Messenger of Allah! You know who we are and where we have come from. We have accepted Islam, now who will be our guardian? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah Almighty and His Messenger. They said: This is sufficient for us and we are pleased with it.
