Hadith 934

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ((مَنْ أَتَى حَائِضًا أَوْ امْرَأَةً فِي دُبُرِهَا أَوْ كَاهِنًا فَصَدَّقَهُ فَقَدْ بَرِيءَ بِمَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ عَلَيْهِ الصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever has intercourse with his menstruating wife, or approaches his wife from behind, or goes to a fortune-teller and affirms what he says, he has disassociated himself from the religion which Allah Almighty has revealed to Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … To use the wife from the back refers to unnatural intercourse, that is, to use the place of excretion. Husbands should use only that organ which Allah Ta'ala has designated as the place for the right of conjugal relations. Intercourse during menstruation (hayd) is prohibited (haram).
