Hadith 9338

It is also narrated from the father of Abu Al-Ahwas that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There are three kinds of hands: one is the hand of Allah Almighty, which is the highest of all; the second is the hand of the giver, whose rank is below the hand of Allah Almighty; and the third is the hand of the beggar, which is the lowest of all. Therefore, you must certainly spend your surplus wealth and do not become helpless before your own self."
