Hadith 9334

عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ كُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا وَتَصَدَّقُوا وَالْبَسُوا غَيْرَ مَخِيلَةٍ وَلَا سَرَفٍ وَقَالَ يَزِيدُ مَرَّةً فِي غَيْرِ إِسْرَافٍ وَلَا مَخِيلَةٍ
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Eat, drink, give charity, and wear (clothes), but there should be neither arrogance nor extravagance.
