عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ رِزْقَ آلِ بَيْتِي قُوتًا
Syedna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Allah! Make the sustenance of my household sufficient for their needs.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … By "qoot" is meant the edible items necessary for the survival of the body, sustenance sufficient for bare subsistence, and the minimum means of livelihood required to keep life going.
