It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Usaib (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) went out one night, when he passed by me, he called me, so I went out. Then when he (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), he called him too, so he also came. When he (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), he called him too and he also came. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) proceeded until he entered a garden belonging to an Ansari and said to the owner of the garden: Serve us some half-ripe dates. So he brought a bunch and placed it down. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and his companions ate from it. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked for cold water and drank it and said: You will surely, surely be questioned about this blessing on the Day of Resurrection. Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) took the bunch and struck it on the ground, causing the half-ripe dates to fall towards the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Then he said: O Messenger of Allah! Will we be questioned about these on the Day of Resurrection? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Yes, absolutely, except for three things: (1) That rag or patch with which a servant covers his private parts, (2) That piece (of bread, etc.) with which a servant satisfies his hunger, and (3) That small room in which a servant enters to protect himself from heat and cold.
