Narrated from Sayyida Asma bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with them both), she says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by me while I was counting and measuring something. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Asma! Do not count, otherwise Allah the Exalted will also start counting against you." Sayyida says: After this statement of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), whatever sustenance came to me and whatever was spent, I never counted anything, and whatever sustenance of Allah the Exalted was spent on any day, He granted its replacement.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … To give charity while relying upon Allah Ta'ala and to hope that He will grant the best reward for it—if a Muslim establishes this belief practically, then Allah Ta'ala continues to grant him according to his expectation.
The most impactful verse regarding reliance (tawakkul) upon Allah Ta'ala is: {وَمَنْیَّتَّقِاللّٰہَیَجْعَلْلَّہٗمَخْرَجًا۔وَّیَرْزُقْہُمِنْحَیْثُلَایَحْتَسِبُوَمَنْیَّتَوَکَّلْعَلَیاللّٰہِفَھُوَحَسْبُہٗ} … And whoever fears Allah, He will make for him a way out. And He will provide for him from where he does not expect. And whoever puts his trust in Allah, then He is sufficient for him. (Surah At-Talaq: 2, 3)
