It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, stated: Allah Almighty will say on the Day of Resurrection: O son of Adam! I made you ride horses and camels, and I married you to women, then I made you such that you became prosperous and of high status, so where is the gratitude for these things now?

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Allahu Akbar! In this era, Allah Ta’ala has bestowed countless things that indicate the outward grandeur and splendor of mankind: magnificent mansions, beautiful and expensive clothing, means of enhancing beauty, various kinds of drinks and foods, vehicles, transportation, worldly education, gardens, crops, and connections with people of authority. The Shari’ah ruling was that gratitude should be shown to Allah Ta’ala for these blessings, but the matter turned out to be the opposite, and the more someone was given, the further he became from Allah Ta’ala.
