Hadith 9232

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Adhere to truthfulness, for indeed truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise. And a servant continues to speak the truth until he is written with Allah as a truthful one (Siddiq).

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Truthfulness is among the distinguished noble human qualities. It is this attribute by virtue of which a person inclines towards goodness and virtue, and distances himself from evil and corruption. Due to this very characteristic, a person avoids blameworthy traits such as lying, falsehood, foul speech, obscene talk, abuse, cursing, and slander and backbiting.
