It is also narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Allah! Whoever deals gently with my Ummah, be gentle with him, and whoever is harsh upon my Ummah, be harsh upon him.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Gentleness is such an adornment that a person characterized by it becomes beloved and accepted among people, and also becomes beloved in the sight of Allah Ta’ala. A quality like gentleness gives rise to patience (sabr), forbearance (hilm), endurance, and forgiveness and overlooking faults, due to which even enemies become friends. Gentleness is the attribute of wise and intelligent people; they deal with every person in its light. On the other hand, a person deprived of gentleness becomes despised in the eyes of people like a defective thing, and is also disliked by Allah.
