وَعَنْهُ أَيْضًا قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنِّي بُعِثْتُ لِأُتَمِّمَ صَالِحَ الْأَخْلَاقِ
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Indeed, I have been sent for the purpose of perfecting noble character.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Due to the Shari’ah of Ibrahim (alayhis salam), the Arabs possessed the best moral character, but later, because of disbelief and polytheism, they went astray. The Noble Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) was sent to perfect their former moral values.
