Narrated by Sayyiduna Abu Barzah Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I killed ‘Abd al-‘Uzza bin Khatal while he was clinging to the covering of the Ka‘bah, and I said to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): O Messenger of Allah! Tell me of an action from which I may benefit. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Remove harmful things from the road, for this will be charity for you.
