بَابُ التَّرْغيب فِي الدَّعْوَةِ إِلَى الْهُدَى وَأَعْمَالِ الْخَيْرِ وَالدَّلَالَةِ عَلَيْهَا وَالشَّفَاعَةِ وَإِصْلَاحِ ذَاتِ البينChapter on encouragement to call to guidance, good deeds, directing towards them, intercession, and reconciliation
Hadith 9132

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ دَعَا إِلَى هُدًى كَانَ لَهُ مِنَ الْأَجْرِ مِثْلُ أُجُورِ مَنْ يَتَّبِعُهُ لَا يَنْقُصُ ذَلِكَ مِنْ أُجُورِهِمْ شَيْئًا وَمَنْ دَعَا إِلَى ضَلَالَةٍ كَانَ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْإِثْمِ مِثْلُ آثَامِ مَنْ يَتَّبِعُهُ لَا يَنْقُصُ ذَلِكَ مِنْ آثَامِهِمْ شَيْئًا
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever calls towards guidance will have a reward equal to the rewards of those who follow him, without their rewards being diminished in the least. Likewise, whoever calls towards misguidance will bear a sin equal to the sins of those who follow him, without their sins being diminished in the least.
