بَابُ التَّرْغِيْبِ فِي النَّصِيحَةِ لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ بَابُ التَّرْغِيْبِ فِي إِعَانَةِ الْمُسْلِمِ وَتَفْرِيحِ كَرْبِهِ وَقَضَاءِ حَاجَيْهِ وَمِثْرٍ عَوْرَتِهِChapter on encouragement to give advice to Muslims, to help them, relieve their distress, fulfill their needs, and cover their faults
Hadith 9113

عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْمُسْلِمُ أَخُو الْمُسْلِمِ لَا يَظْلِمُهُ وَلَا يُسْلِمُهُ مَنْ كَانَ فِي حَاجَةِ أَخِيهِ كَانَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فِي حَاجَتِهِ وَمَنْ فَرَّجَ عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ كُرْبَةً فَرَّجَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَنْهُ بِهَا كُرْبَةً مِنْ كُرَبِ يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ وَمَنْ سَتَرَ مُسْلِمًا سَتَرَهُ اللَّهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A Muslim is the brother of a Muslim; he does not oppress him nor does he abandon him helpless. Whoever strives to fulfill the need of his brother, Allah Almighty remains engaged in fulfilling his need. Whoever removes a difficulty from a Muslim, Allah Almighty will remove one of his difficulties from the difficulties of the Day of Resurrection. And whoever conceals (the faults of) a Muslim, Allah Almighty will conceal him on the Day of Resurrection.
