Hadith 9098

(وَعَنْهُ مِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَانٍ) عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ ((أَيُّمَا مُسْلِمٍ أَضَافَ قَوْمًا فَأَصْبَحَ الضَّيْفُ مَحْرُومًا فَإِنَّ حَقًّا عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ نَصْرُهُ حَتَّى يَأْخُذَ بِقَرَى لَيْلَتِهِ مِنْ زَرْعِهِ وَمَالِهِ))
(Second chain) The Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: If a Muslim becomes the guest of a people, but he wakes up in the morning deprived of his right, then it is obligatory upon every Muslim to help that guest, until he receives his right of hospitality for that night from the host’s crops and wealth.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Hospitality is the right of the guest. The host should welcome him with a cheerful countenance and, according to his ability and with a happy heart, fulfill the right of hospitality.
