Zararah bin Aufi narrates from a companion of his people named Malik or Ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever Muslim keeps an orphaned child—who has lost both Muslim parents—with him in his food and drink, until Allah Almighty makes that orphan self-sufficient, then Paradise will definitely become obligatory for him. Whoever Muslim frees a Muslim slave, this will become a cause for his freedom from the Fire. And whoever finds both or even one of his parents and still enters Hell, then Allah Almighty will distance him.
