It is narrated from Sayyida Durrah bint Abi Lahab (may Allah be pleased with her) that a man came to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while he was on the pulpit, and said: O Messenger of Allah! Which people are the best? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: The best among the people is the one who recites the Qur'an the most, has the most piety, commands good the most, forbids evil the most, and maintains the ties of kinship the most.
