وَعَنْهُ أَيْضًا قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ الرَّحِمَ مُعَلَّقَةٌ بِالْعَرْشِ وَلَيْسَ الْوَاصِلُ بِالْمُكَافِئِ وَلَكِنَّ الْوَاصِلَ الَّذِي إِذَا انْقَطَعَتْ رَحِمُهُ وَصَلَهَا
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr, may Allah be pleased with them both, also narrates that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Maintaining ties of kinship is hanging with the Throne, and the person who maintains ties only in return (is not truly) maintaining ties of kinship (in its original and perfect degree). The one who truly maintains ties of kinship is he who joins it when it is being severed."

Benefits: … It is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha radi Allahu anha that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: “The womb (rahim) is suspended from the Throne (‘arsh), and it says: Whoever maintains me, Allah will maintain him; and whoever severs me, Allah will sever him.” … Kinship is suspended from the Throne, and it says: Whoever joins me, Allah the Exalted will join him, and whoever severs me, Allah the Exalted will sever him. (Sahih Muslim: 4635)
