Sayyiduna Miqdam bin Ma’dikarib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whatever you feed yourself, it will be charity for you; whatever you feed your children, that too will be charity for you; whatever you feed your wife, that too will be charity for you; and whatever you feed your servant, that too will be charity for you.
