Hadith 8958

عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَيَعْجَبُ مِنَ الشَّابِّ لَيْسَتْ لَهُ صَبْوَةٌ
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Indeed, Allah Almighty is amazed at that young man who has no inclination towards desires.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … A young person who is accustomed to good deeds and possesses a strong resolve to stay away from evil—Allah Ta‘ala is amazed at him, even though the nature of youth is such that it inclines towards desires.
