عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ مَا أَعْجَبَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ شَيْءٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَلَا أَعْجَبَهُ أَحَدٌ قَطُّ إِلَّا ذُو تُقًى
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), she says: Nothing in the world pleased the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) more, and no person was dearer to him, except the pious.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The most honorable and beloved person in the sight of Allah Almighty is the one who is pious, and the preference of the Noble Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) is also for the one whom Allah Almighty prefers.
