It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas’ud (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: A man had not performed any good deed except for Tawheed (belief in the Oneness of Allah). When the time of his death approached, he said to his family: When I die, seize me and burn me, then make me into coal, then crush me and scatter me in the sea on a windy day. They did as he instructed, but suddenly he came into the grasp of Allah Almighty. Allah Almighty said to him: What made you carry out this action? He replied: Your fear. So Allah Almighty forgave him.
