Abu Wa'il says: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) used to give admonition and advice every Thursday or Monday. We said: O Abu Abdur Rahman! We like your speech and wish that you would advise us daily. In response, Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The thing that prevents me from this is that I dislike making you weary, and I take care of you in giving advice just as the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to take care of us.
