Narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), she says: When the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to me, at that time such-and-such woman was sitting with me. I mentioned her prayer, but the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Leave it, you should only take upon yourself as much as you are able to do. By Allah, Allah does not tire until you tire. Indeed, the most beloved religion to Allah is that upon which a person remains constant.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … This woman was Sayyidah Hawla bint Tuwayt radi Allahu anha.
The meaning of “continuing” and “not continuing” is that as long as you persist in performing deeds with readiness, Allah will continue the sequence of reward and the descent of mercy. And when you abandon the deeds, He will cut off that sequence of reward, just as Allah the Exalted has said: {نَسُوْااللّٰہَفَنَسِیَھُمْ} … They forgot Allah, so He forgot them. (Surah al-Tawbah: 67)
