Ubaidah bin Umair says: When Sayyidah Aisha (RA) heard that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (RA) instructs women to undo their hair while performing ghusl, she said: "I am greatly surprised at Ibn Amr; he instructs women to undo their hair while performing ghusl. Why does he not instruct them to shave their heads as well? The matter is that I and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to perform ghusl together from a single vessel, and I would pour water over my head only three times."
