It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) heard a man reciting {قُلْھُوَاللّٰہُاَحَدٌ} until he completed this Surah. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It has become obligatory." Someone asked: "O Messenger of Allah! What has become obligatory?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "Paradise has become obligatory." Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I intended to give this reciter the glad tidings, but I preferred to eat with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), fearing that I might miss the opportunity to eat with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). But after eating, when I went to that man, he had already left."
