Sayyida Asma bint Yazid (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited these verses: {لِاِیْلَافِ قُرَیْشٍ ۔ اِیْلَافِہِمْ رِحْلَۃَ الشِّتَاءِ وَالصَّیْفِ} … For the familiarity of the Quraysh, that is, for making them familiar with the journeys of winter and summer. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Quraysh! Woe to you, worship the Lord of this House, Who fed you against hunger and granted you security from fear.
