It is narrated from Sayyiduna Zubair bin Al-Awwam, may Allah be pleased with him, that when this verse was revealed: { ثُمَّ لَتُسْأَ لُنَّ یَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ النَّعِیمِ} … Then, on that Day, you will surely be questioned about the blessings. Sayyiduna Zubair said: O Messenger of Allah! Which blessings will we be questioned about? Now we have only these two black blessings—water and dates. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Beware! Soon there will be (many) blessings.
