It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hubah Badri, may Allah be pleased with him, he says: When Surah Bayyinah was revealed, Jibreel (peace be upon him) said: O Muhammad! Your Lord has commanded you to recite this Surah to Sayyiduna Ubayy bin Ka'b, may Allah be pleased with him. So you (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Ubayy! My Lord has commanded me to teach you such-and-such Surah. Upon this, Sayyiduna Ubayy began to weep and said: Was my mention made there? You (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Yes.
