Hadith 8822

It is narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever is called to account on the Day of Resurrection will be punished. I (Aisha) said: Has Allah Almighty not said {فَسَوْفَ یُحَاسَبُ حِسَابًا یَسِیرًا} … soon his account will be taken easily? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: This does not mean reckoning; it is only the presentation of deeds. Whoever is called to account on the Day of Resurrection will certainly be punished.

Benefits: … By "presentation" is meant that the deeds of the believer will be presented at the Pond, and his mistakes will also be brought before him; then Allah Ta'ala, out of His mercy and grace, will forgive them.
