It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) recited this verse: {أَ ہْلُ التَّقْوٰی وَأَ ہْلُ الْمَغْفِرَۃِ} … He is worthy that He should be feared and also worthy that He should forgive. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: Allah Almighty says: I am worthy that I should be feared, so none should be associated with Me, and whoever feared associating partners with Me, then I am worthy that I should forgive him.
