Narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the command of Allah Almighty is: {وَّاَنَّہ لَمَّا قَامَ عَبْدُ اللّٰہِ یَدْعُوْہُ کَادُوْا یَکُوْنُوْنَ عَلَیْہِ لِبَدًا۔} … And indeed, the matter is that when the servant of Allah stood up, calling upon Him, they were almost about to crowd upon him in layers. When the jinn saw that you (peace and blessings be upon him) were leading your noble companions in prayer, they joined in prayer with your (peace and blessings be upon him) prayer, bowing with your bowing and prostrating with your prostration. When they saw the obedience of the companions before you (peace and blessings be upon him), they were astonished and went back to their people and said: When the servant of Allah (that is, you, peace and blessings be upon him) stood up to worship Allah Almighty, it was almost as if they would have rushed upon him in a great crowd.
